Our replica is a dimensionally correct copy of the original long nose Jaguar D Type, we offer a choice of body styles, single or double cockpit with or without the headrest or tailfin.
WHAT YOU GET
The hand laid fibreglass body is fitted to an all aluminium tub and square section steel tube frame similar to the original car.
Front suspension utilises Jaguar upper and lower control arms and uprights, with AVO coil over shock absorbers
Rear suspension is a Borg Warner live axle located with 4 trailing arms and panhard bar with AVO coil over shock absorbers
Motor is the Jaguar 4.2 litre 6 cylinder in line, twin over head camshaft unit from Series 2 XJ6
with camshaft covers from the earlier 3.4 litre motor fitted
Gearbox 4 speed Borg Warner manual
Wheels are specially made copies of the original D type
Interior trims, instrumentation and switches are fitted similar to the original
Production will be limited to 4 cars per year
